CapitalSage Vantage Acquires Chimoney for Payment Expansion

CapitalSage Vantage has entered into an agreement to acquire Chimoney, a payment infrastructure company based in Toronto that operates across 130 countries. This acquisition is subject to regulatory approval and customary closing conditions.

It is expected to strengthen CapitalSage Vantage's cross-border payment capabilities and expand its international financial services footprint. Chimoney provides various payment infrastructure services, including multi-currency wallets and global payout solutions, and has developed API and digital identity tools for companies registered with the Bank of Canada.

Following the completion of the acquisition, Chimoney is expected to continue operating within the CapitalSage Vantage group while maintaining access to its existing services. Uchi Uchibek is the founder of Chimoney, and Abiola Bawuah serves as the Group Chief Executive Officer of CapitalSage Vantage.

The acquisition aligns with CapitalSage's strategy to expand its financial services network and strengthen connections with customers across different markets.
