While Kepa's mistake led to Manchester City's first goal, Sagna emphasized that the entire team lacked determination in the second half.

He noted that Mikel Arteta's decision to start Kepa over David Raya was not a mistake, despite the error. Sagna pointed out that Arsenal's defensive play in the second half allowed Manchester City to apply pressure, and he highlighted Kai Havertz's missed opportunities in the first half as critical moments that could have changed the game's outcome.

Sagna remarked that Havertz needed to shoot earlier to capitalize on chances, as Manchester City's goalkeeper James Trafford made several excellent saves throughout the match.
