Cardi B Wins $24M Lawsuit: Cleared of Assault Allegations

Cardi B, also known as Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar Cephus, has been cleared of a $24 million assault lawsuit by a Los Angeles jury. The case was brought by former security guard Emani Ellis over a 2018 incident outside a Beverly Hills obstetrician office.

Cardi B was accused of assault and hurling racial slurs, but the jury unanimously ruled in her favor after less than an hour of deliberation. Testimonies from witnesses, including clinic staff, supported Cardi B's defense that no physical altercation took place.

The rapper expressed relief and maintained her innocence, stating she would never admit to something that didn't happen.
