Catholic Church Supports Abia State's Clean Environment Campaign

The Catholic Diocese in Umuahia advised Governor Alex Otti of Abia State to uphold efforts in combating garbage and environmental degradation. Bishop Michael Kalu Ukpong handed over two street sweeping vehicles to the Abia State Government to support the state's cleanliness campaign.

The Catholic Church emphasized the importance of a clean environment for public health. Governor Otti received the vehicles alongside Ambrose Agene, the Deputy General Manager of the Abia State Environmental Protection Agency (ASEPA) in Umuahia.

The Church pledged ongoing support for government initiatives to enhance public health and environmental conditions in Abia State.
