CBN and NAADI Boost South-South Youths in Agriculture

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the Nigerian Agribusiness Development Initiative (NAADI) have pledged support to South-South youths in agriculture. They aim to strengthen structures and provide funding for agribusiness projects.

NAADI's Coordinator, Mr. Howard Usen, highlighted the importance of youth participation in agriculture and the need for proper governance frameworks.

The partnership with the Federation of Agricultural Communities Nigeria will assist in developing operational standards. NAADI and relevant institutions will provide training and support to ensure the success of the newly inaugurated Youth Agriculture chapter in Akwa Ibom State.

This initiative aims to boost youth engagement in agriculture across the region.
