Portable and Carter Efe Clash Ahead of Boxing Match

On Tuesday, Portable, a controversial singer known as Habeeb Badmus, and comedian Carter Efe exchanged heated words during a face-off in Ikeja, ahead of their celebrity boxing match scheduled for May 1. The two social media stars nearly came to blows in front of a crowd of about 50 fans, prompting security personnel to intervene to prevent the situation from escalating.

Portable arrived at the event displaying a spiritual charm, confidently signaling his chance of victory. He boldly declared his intention to defeat Carter Efe, which drew loud cheers from the crowd.

Known for his energetic persona, Carter Efe responded with equal intensity, refusing to be intimidated and pushing against security personnel while shouting for an immediate confrontation with Portable. The event, sanctioned by the Nigeria Boxing Board and promoted by Balmor Group in collaboration with AK Promotions, will feature an undercard with cruiserweight contests and several international bouts, including fighters from Ghana, Britain, Algeria, and Tanzania.
