Celtic's O’Neill Recovering Well After Hospital Procedure

Celtic manager Martin O’Neill, aged 74, announced on Thursday that he is feeling “much better” following a hospital procedure that forced him to miss the team’s 5-1 victory over Kilmarnock last weekend. O’Neill spent a night in the hospital due to a “small” procedure and was away from the squad for several days.

Despite his absence, he managed to deliver a pre-match team talk at the players’ hotel. In a statement to Celtic’s website, O’Neill mentioned that he was dealing with a couple of ailments but is recovering well.

He has led Celtic to significant successes, including the Scottish title and the Scottish Cup last season. Currently, Celtic is aiming for their 15th title in the last 16 seasons, although they have faced criticism from fans regarding a lack of investment in new players.

Recently, O’Neill confirmed the signing of Egypt winger Haissem Hassan from Real Oviedo, marking his third recruit since the end of last season.
