Champion Breweries Acquires Bullet’s Brand Assets to Drive International Growth

Champion Breweries, a subsidiary of EnjoyCorp Limited, has acquired the Bullet brand assets from Sun Mark International Limited. The acquisition is aimed at driving international growth for Bullet one Africa's RTD alcoholic beverage portfolio.

The deal will see Champion Breweries taking a majority interest in the new entity, with Sun Mark retaining a minority stake. The company expects the acquisition to boost foreign exchange profit, pending regulatory approval.

Champion Breweries, known for producing Champ Malt and Champion Lager beer, also provides packaging services for Nigerian Breweries Plc. Jacob, Chairman of Champion Breweries, expressed optimism about the potential of the acquisition.

The company recently reported a significant increase in profit after tax for the year ending December 31, 2024, with profits rising to N1.4 billion from N0.3 billion in 2023.
