Ajayi Excited to Return After Injury with Hull City

Semi Ajayi, a 32-year-old central defender, has returned to action with Hull City following a hamstring injury that he sustained during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. This injury kept him sidelined for around two months, and he missed approximately three months of action earlier in the campaign due to previous issues.

Ajayi featured in three games for Hull City this month, with his latest appearance occurring last Saturday in a defeat against his former club, West Bromwich Albion. He expressed his delight at being back on the pitch, stating he feels ready to help Hull City push for a playoff ticket in the Sky Bet Championship.

Ajayi joined Hull City on a free transfer last summer and is looking forward to contributing to the team for the remainder of the season.
