CHAN: I wasn’t expecting 4-0 scoreline against Nigeria – Sudan coach, Appiah

Sudan coach Kwesi Appiah expressed surprise at the 4-0 scoreline in their match against Nigeria in the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN). Despite expecting a tough game, Appiah watched his team thrash the Super Eagles B team with goals from Leonard Ngenge, Walieldin Khedr, and Abdel Raouf.

This victory puts Sudan at the top of Group four with four points from two games. Appiah mentioned in an interview that while he did not anticipate such a scoreline, he believed his team could beat Nigeria.
