Chelsea FC Intensifies Pursuit of Victor Osimhen

Chelsea FC is reportedly intensifying its pursuit of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen as they prepare for the upcoming summer transfer window. According to El Nacion, Chelsea plans to appoint Unai Emery as their manager at the end of the current season.

Emery has identified three priority signings, including Osimhen, along with Diogo Costa and Nico Schlotterbeck. Chelsea attempted to sign Osimhen last year, but negotiations stalled due to Napoli's valuation of the striker, which is reported to be €150 million.

This high valuation, coupled with Osimhen's insistence on maintaining his salary, has complicated the transfer process. Despite these hurdles, Osimhen remains a top target for the London club as they look to strengthen their attacking options for the next season.
