The second goal came from Jack Hinshelwood in the 56th minute, assisted by Georginio Rutter, while Danni Welbeck added a third goal in stoppage time.

This defeat marks the first time since 1912 that Chelsea has gone five league matches without scoring, totaling 450 minutes without a goal. Chelsea has now dropped to seventh in the EPL table with 48 points from 34 matches, overtaken by Brighton by two points.
