Chelsea Contacts Galatasaray for Victor Osimhen Transfer

Chelsea has initiated contact with Galatasaray to discuss a potential summer transfer for Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen, who is currently valued at €150 million by the Turkish champions. Osimhen will not participate in the upcoming friendlies against Poland and Portugal due to ongoing transfer discussions, as confirmed by Super Eagles head coach Eric Chell.

Chell clarified that his earlier comments regarding Osimhen's situation were taken out of context and urged everyone to disregard the surrounding speculation. Despite Osimhen's denial of transfer interest, reports indicate that he remains a target for several top European clubs, including Manchester United, who have placed him on their shortlist.

Galatasaray purchased Osimhen for €75 million last summer and is unwilling to entertain offers below the current valuation. Osimhen had an outstanding season, scoring 15 league goals and providing five assists in 22 matches, contributing significantly to Galatasaray's success in retaining the Turkish Super Lig title and reaching the UEFA Champions League Round of 16.
