Chelsea players donate Club Cup bonus to the family of Diogo Jota and Andre Silva

Chelsea players have donated a portion of their Club World Cup bonus to the family of Diogo Jota and Andre Silva. The Blues won the FIFA tournament in July 2025, with the bonus being distributed equally among the players.

Each player received an estimated amount of £500k, with relevant deductions for tax and social security. Jota's brother, Silva, tragically passed away in a car accident in July 2025.

In a show of solidarity, Liverpool players also wore a Forever 20 emblem on their shirts and jackets for the season, with the number 20 jersey retired in memory of Jota. This gesture highlights the football community's support for those in need and the unity among players across different clubs.
