Enzo Fernández Suspended for Manchester City Match

Enzo Fernández, a 23-year-old player for Chelsea FC, will not participate in the Premier League match against Manchester City scheduled for Sunday. This decision follows an internal suspension imposed by the club, which remains in effect despite Fernández's recent apology regarding comments he made that linked him to a potential move to Real Madrid.

Chelsea's head coach, Liam Rosenior, confirmed that the situation has not changed, and Fernández will again be absent from the team. He previously missed Chelsea's 7-0 FA Cup victory over Port Vale due to this suspension, which was initially set for two matches.

Rosenior emphasized that the club is currently sixth in the Premier League, trailing Liverpool by one point for the final Champions League spot, and will also be without several key players, including Reece James, Trevoh Chalobah, and Levi Colwill for the match at Stamford Bridge.
