Methodist Church Nigeria Plans University in Abia State for Education Advancement

The Methodist Church Nigeria (MCN) has proposed establishing a university in Umuimenyi, Abia State, during a visit led by Prelate Oliver Abah to Governor Alex Otti Nvosi. The initiative aims to continue MCN's legacy in education and social welfare.

Governor Otti expressed support for the project, directing assistance in resolving land issues promptly. The government has already begun constructing roads to the proposed university site, demonstrating commitment to the partnership.
