Coalition: I’m only leader of ADC in Nigeria – Abejide

Honorable Leke Abejide, a member of the House of Representatives representing Yagba Mopa Federal Constituency, clarified that he is the only leader of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Nigeria. In an interview with Arise News, he emphasized the importance of recognizing the efforts of those who have kept the party alive.

Abejide highlighted the need for new members to acknowledge existing party structures instead of trying to take over. He criticized the trend of individuals joining parties and immediately assuming leadership roles without understanding the party's history or values.

Abejide cited his own experience in building the ADC in his constituency and expressed concern over the potential deregistration of the party due to the actions of opportunistic politicians. He urged for a more respectful and collaborative approach to party leadership and growth.
