Colombian Vice President Visits Nigeria to Strengthen Diplomatic Ties

Vice President of Colombia, Francia Márquez, arrived in Abuja for a three-day official visit to Nigeria accompanied by spouse Rafael Yerney Pinillo Ocoró. The visit aims to deepen diplomatic and strategic relations between Nigeria and Colombia, enhancing collaboration in governance, trade, agriculture, energy, education, and security.

Márquez was received at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport by Nigerian officials, including the Minister of Innovation, Science & Technology, Chief Uche Nnaji, and the Minister of Women Affairs, Hon Imaan. The visit is expected to strengthen ties between the two countries, with discussions planned with Nigerian counterparts in various sectors.

The visit also includes engagements with cabinet ministers, government officials, and business leaders to explore mutual interests.
