Olarenwaju: Tinubu Can't Undermine Atiku's Manifesto

Demola Olarenwaju, a senior political assistant with the African Democratic Congress (ADC), asserted that Bola Tinubu cannot persist in balkanizing the manifesto points of Atiku Abubakar from the 2019 and 2023 elections. Olarenwaju indicated that Tinubu's anticipated actions concerning the constitutional amendment bill could lead to negative repercussions from the broader society.

He argued that the implementation of state police is essential for ensuring true federalism and improving state funding. Olarenwaju emphasized that state legislatures must perform their oversight responsibilities effectively, particularly regarding the executive branch's implementation of state police.

He warned that failing to address these issues could empower governors and diminish accountability.
