Ogun State Road Contractor Agrees to Government Specifications After Initial Setback

A contractor working on a road project in Ogun State, sponsored by Senator Gbenga Daniel, has agreed to adhere to the state government's specifications after initially facing issues with meeting engineering standards. The contractor, Minim Tonye, accepted the engineering standards outlined in a letter from the Ogun State Government, including specific drainage specifications.

The government had previously directed the contractor to suspend work until proper regulatory approvals were obtained. The project involves the construction of a drainage system with dimensions of 600mm x 600mm using Grade 25 concrete.

The contractor was instructed to meet the required standards, including using Grade 25 high yield tensile strength concrete.
