NCF DG Praises Nigeria's COP30 Preparedness, Calls for Action on Climate Agreements

Dr. Joseph Onoja, Director-General of the Nigerian Conservation Foundation (NCF), commends Nigeria's COP30 negotiators for enhanced readiness in climate discussions.

The emphasis is now on translating agreements into tangible actions, particularly in critical areas such as climate finance and nature-based solutions. COP30 highlighted the need for increased climate finance, a clear roadmap for achieving local goals, and discussions on nature conservation, notably the Amazon Forest.
