Court Freezes Nduka Obaigbena's Company Assets Worldwide Over Oil Block Dispute

The Federal High Court in Lagos has granted a worldwide freeze on the assets of Gener Hydrocarbon Limited (GHL), including those of Nduka Obaigbena, due to an oil block dispute. The order affects 35 financial institutions and aims to safeguard assets and prevent dissipation.

The court-appointed Seyi Akinwunmi as a receiver to oversee GHL's valuable assets, including OML 120, one of Nigeria's richest offshore oil blocks. This legal action suspends commercial activities and involves major banks like GTBank, Access Bank, and Zenith Bank.

The injunction is to maintain peace and enforce the court's order.
