Miyetti Allah President Bodejo Granted N2bn Bail in Court

Bello Bodejo, the President of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, was granted bail in the sum of N2 billion by Justice Inyang Ekwo of the Federal High Court in Abuja. This ruling came in response to charges of money laundering involving $2.63 million.

The court held that the bail was at its discretion and outlined specific conditions for Bodejo's release. He is required to provide two sureties, one of whom must have a property valued at N2 billion within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and evidence of three years of tax clearance.

Additionally, Bodejo must surrender his international passport to the court registrar and is prohibited from traveling outside Nigeria without prior court approval. The matter has been adjourned, with the trial set to commence on October 5, 6, and 7, 2026.
