Prophet Olayinka Sentenced to Life for Sexual Crimes

On February 11, 2026, a Kwara State High Court in Ilorin sentenced Prophet Ajiboy Abayomi Olayinka, the general overseer of Mission House Divine Land and Joi Prayer Ministry, to life imprisonment for committing unlawful sexual intercourse with three minors. The court found him guilty of eight counts, including unlawful sexual intercourse, illegal abortion, and possession of a firearm.

The prosecution, led by Chief State Counsel Issa Zakari, presented 12 witnesses and substantial evidence during the trial. The court, presided over by Justice H.

Gegel, noted that the defendant had coerced victims into sexual acts and had administered anointing oil to them. The court described Olayinka as a "pedophile philander" whose actions were detrimental to society.

Additionally, the court ordered the forfeiture of a pump-action gun recovered from the defendant to the Federal Government of Nigeria.
