INEC Disowns Fake Document on Ekiti PDP Congress, Governorship Primary

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has disowned a fake document circulating online regarding the approval of the postponement of the People Democratic Party's (PDP) congress and governorship primary in Ekiti State. The document, dated November 10, 2025, was declared as a forgery by Victoria Etta Messi, the Director of Voter Education at INEC.

The commission emphasized that the document did not originate from their office and warned against the creation and circulation of fake documents. INEC has initiated collaboration with security agencies to investigate and apprehend those responsible for the forgery.
