Kano South Lawmakers Boycott Governor's Invite Amid Crisis

Lawmakers from Kano South, led by Senator Kawu Sumaila, convened an emergency meeting in Abuja to address growing discontent regarding the leadership of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf. This meeting followed their boycott of an invitation from the governor to attend a larger meeting.

The lawmakers expressed dissatisfaction with the political neglect of the Kano South zone by the state government, feeling that significant political decisions affecting their region were made without proper consultation.
