PDP Chieftain Criticizes APC, Alleges System Threatening Democracy

Emmanuel Ogidi, a chieftain of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), has accused the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) of attempting to undermine democracy in Nigeria. The PDP is currently facing internal turmoil, with key members like former spokesman Kola Ologbondiyan resigning and joining the APC.

Despite the challenges, Ogidi remains optimistic and hopes to regain power from the APC in 2023. The PDP is organizing high-level solidarity meetings in Abuja to address the crises and strategize for the future.

Various party structures, including state chairmen and former officials, are scheduled to meet to chart a new course for the opposition movement.
