Cristiano Ronaldo to Rejoin Portugal National Team Soon
Cristiano Ronaldo is set to return to the Portugal national team following his abrupt departure just before a UEFA Nations League match against Denmark. This information was shared by Portuguese journalist Miguel Pereira, who noted that Ronaldo was dissatisfied with head coach Jorge Jesus after not being played in a previous victory against Croatia.
Pereira stated on talkSPORT’s Sunday Edition that there are ongoing efforts to rebuild relationships between Ronaldo’s camp, Jesus’ camp, and the Portuguese Football Federation. The federation is keen to have Ronaldo back due to the publicity he brings.
Ronaldo is reportedly motivated to score 21 goals, with aspirations to net his final goal for Portugal in a manner reminiscent of Pele's celebration of his 1,000th goal, aiming for this milestone at the end of the season.
