“Curb your excessive foreign travel culture,” – ADC slams Tinubu

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has criticized President Bola Tinubu for his excessive foreign travel, accusing him of neglecting urgent domestic challenges such as insecurity, poverty, and malnutrition. The party's National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, stated that Tinubu has spent nearly a quarter of his presidency outside the country, with 40 international trips in 26 months.

The ADC argued that these trips have not brought tangible economic benefits to Nigeria and urged Tinubu to focus on addressing the country's pressing issues. The party highlighted the growing insecurity, poverty, and malnutrition crisis in Nigeria, emphasizing the need for leadership and empathy from the President.

The ADC also raised concerns about Tinubu's recent absence from the public eye, warning that rumors about his health could be damaging to the economy. The party called for a more grounded and attentive approach to governance, emphasizing that Nigeria deserves a President who is present and actively addressing the challenges facing the nation.
