Daidai Song Enhances Nigeria-Colombia Cultural Ties

The Daidai song was presented by Cantillo during the Nigeria annual diplomatic cultural festival held in Abuja, Colombia, as part of the 2026 FIFA World Cup unveiling at the opening ceremony of the tournament in the United States. The festival, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, took place on Saturday at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium.

The theme of the festival was "Unity in Diversity," aimed at celebrating global culture and promoting cultural diplomacy. Mr.

Dotun Israel, the head of the organizing committee, reaffirmed Nigeria's commitment to embracing cultural diversity and deepening international partnerships. The event featured participation from foreign missions across Asia, Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, and Europe, showcasing a rich display of global traditions through music, dance, and art.

A standout moment was the presentation of Colombia's colorful flag, which received loud applause from the audience.
