Daily Times to Celebrate 100 Years with Grand Events and Archival Showcases

Daily Times, a prominent Nigerian newspaper founded in 1926, is set to mark its 100th anniversary with a series of events from October 2025 to June 2026. The celebrations will include exhibitions, archival showcases, lecture series, a grand gala award night in Lagos, and the unveiling of a 700-page book detailing Nigeria's historical events.

Fide Anosike, the Chairman of Folio Communications PLC, announced the plans, emphasizing the importance of preserving the newspaper's legacy and bridging the digital skills gap in journalism.
