Dangote Cement's Profit Surges to N743 Billion Despite Sales Volume Decline

Dangote Cement Plc reported a sharp increase in profit to N743.3 billion for the nine-month period ending September 30, 2025, compared to N279.1 billion in the same period in 2024. The rise in profit was mainly attributed to improved prices, with a 23% increase in revenue to N3.15 trillion.

Despite a 2% decrease in total cement sales volume, the average selling price rose by 25.85%. Nigerian operations performed strongly, with a 42.4% revenue increase driven by higher prices and a slight uptick in sales volume.

Pan-African operations also contributed positively, offsetting a drop in sales volume.
