Dangote Industries Partners with SNPC to Boost Fuel Supply

Dangote Industries Limited is currently negotiating a long-term partnership with Société Nationale de Pétrole du Congo (SNPC) to expand fuel supply across Africa. Maixent Raoul Ominga, Managing Director of SNPC, led a delegation to Dangote's refinery in Congo, highlighting the asset's significance in the African industrial landscape.

The discussions focus on enhancing product supply and creating value within the energy sector, aiming to reduce reliance on imported fuel. Aliko Dangote, President and Chief Executive of Dangote Industries Limited, reaffirmed the group's commitment to industrialization in Africa, emphasizing the need for collaboration across the continent.

The company plans to increase its total refining capacity to 2.1 million barrels per day, which includes 1.4 million barrels per day in Nigeria and a 700,000 barrels per day complex in Kenya to serve the East African market. Additionally, Dangote Industries intends to invest $4.6 billion between 2026 and 2028 across its refining, cement, and fertilizer businesses.
