Dangote Refinery Adjusts Petrol Prices, Depot Owners Struggle to Compete

Dangote Refinery has resumed full operations and increased the petrol gantry price for Premium Motor Spirit (petrol) from N820 to N877 per liter. This move has caused a stir in the market, with depot owners facing challenges in competing with the refinery's pricing.

Despite some stations selling above N900 per liter, the refinery's pricing remains below N890-N900 per liter. The President of OGSPAN, Mazi Obasi, commended Dangote Refinery's resilience and success, emphasizing the benefits of local refining for job creation and economic stability in Nigeria.

Alhaji Dangote also revealed plans to list Dangote Refinery on the Nigerian Stock Exchange by 2025.
