Dangote Refinery Takes Credit for Petrol Price Reduction, Emphasizes Commitment to Quality Fuel

Dangote Refinery has claimed responsibility for the recent reduction in petrol pump prices in Nigeria by independently cutting its gantry prices, contrary to claims that the reduction was due to a reversal of a 15% import tariff on refined products. The company stressed that the price cut was a result of its own initiative to stabilize fuel supply and demonstrate social responsibility during the festive season.

Additionally, Dangote Refinery reiterated its commitment to delivering high-quality fuel in Nigeria and warned against the importation of substandard products that could harm the local economy. The refinery also announced its long-term investment plans exceeding $20 billion in the country.
