Dangote Refinery Hits 70 Million Liters Daily Production, NNPC Slashes Prices

Dangote Refinery has reached a significant milestone by producing and distributing 70 million liters of petrol and diesel daily, exceeding Nigeria's total fuel consumption. The refinery's operations are aimed at enhancing national security, consumer confidence, and reducing the country's reliance on fuel imports.

With the capacity to process 650,000 barrels of crude oil per day, the refinery is set to reshape Nigeria's downstream oil sector and potentially position the country as a net exporter of refined petroleum products in West Africa. The refinery's impact extends beyond fuel production, contributing to economic growth and local capacity building.

NNPC has also slashed petrol prices in response to the refinery's increased production.
