Dangote Refinery Saves Nigeria N10 Billion Annually, Reduces Fuel Imports

Sundai Esan of Dangote Industries Ltd revealed that Dangote Refinery is saving Nigeria N10 billion annually by cutting fuel imports and creating jobs. The refinery has significantly reduced the country's reliance on imported petroleum products, contributing to GDP growth and enhancing energy security.

Operating for nearly two years, it has lowered fuel imports by 1.54% in Q1 2025 compared to Q1 2024. The refinery's expansion plans aim to increase output and attract more buyers, further boosting the economy.
