Western Nations Allegedly Equip Bandits in Nigeria

Salihu Dantata, a security expert, made allegations on a Friday interview with Arise Television, claiming that certain Western nations are equipping bandits in Nigeria, particularly in Zamfara, to facilitate access to illegal gold mines. He stated that these nations have been involved in the illicit mining of Nigeria's resources, enabling bandits to operate without concealment.

Dantata pointed out that there have been instances where helicopters were seen delivering arms to bandits, who then collect gold in exchange. He emphasized that the current battle against insurgents is not limited to members of ISWAP and Boko Haram, as these groups are reportedly being trained to handle rifles by elite forces from the U.S. and Israel.

Dantata exposed what he described as a conspiracy involving certain superpowers, predicting that Nigeria could face fragmentation by 2015 if these issues are not addressed.
