EFCC Witness Testifies Dasuki Signed ₦33.2bn Payment Mandates in Corruption Trial

In a court hearing in Abuja, an EFCC witness disclosed that former NSA Sambo Dasuki signed payment mandates authorizing the transfer of ₦33.2 billion to two companies. Dasuki, facing trial on 32 counts of financial crimes, is accused of diverting funds meant for national security.

The prosecution alleges that Dasuki, along with former NNPC GM Aminu Baba Kusa and two companies, Acacia Holdings Limited and Reliance Referral Hospital Limited, were involved in the misappropriation scheme. The witness detailed transactions involving multiple banks and ownership structures of the implicated companies.
