NCC Emphasizes Data Protection for Nigeria's Future and Sovereignty

Dr. Aminu Maida, the Executive Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), highlighted the significance of data protection for Nigeria's future and sovereignty during the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Nigerian Data Protection Commission (NDPC) in Abuja.

Dr. Vincent Olatunji from NDPC explained that the partnership aims to ensure proper data privacy protection within the telecom sector, emphasizing the need for expertise in data privacy regulations.
