Davido Congratulates Zlatan Ibile on Chart-Topping "INFERNO
Davido reacted to the release of "INFERNO," a collaboration by Zlatan Ibile, Peruzzi, and Shoday, which reached No. 1 on the Apple Music Top Songs chart within 12 hours and also topped the Nigerian iTunes chart and charts in Sierra Leone. Davido congratulated the artists on Instagram, stating, "God pas man.
Congrats guys." The song's release coincided with a feud involving Verydarkman, also known as Vincent, who has previously criticized Zlatan and other music figures regarding the circumstances surrounding the death of singer Mohbad. A lyric in "INFERNO" referencing "Vincent" drew attention, leading to speculation about its connection to Verydarkman.
Following the song's release, Verydarkman mocked Zlatan's promotional efforts, suggesting they were merely a stunt. Despite this, "INFERNO" maintained its chart position, demonstrating significant popularity, which was acknowledged by Davido.
Davido also attended Zlatan Ibile's traditional wedding in Lagos on October 24, 2026.
