Davido's sixth studio album, ORIADÉ, was released on July 31, 2026, through Columbia Records and Sony Music Entertainment. The title, derived from Yoruba, translates to "the crowned head," symbolizing Davido's artistic journey as it coincides with the 15th anniversary of his music career.

This album follows his 2025 project, which peaked at number two on the Billboard World Albums chart and number seven on the UK Albums chart. Unlike its expansive predecessor, ORIADÉ is more compact with 13 tracks, focusing on a return to his Afrobeats foundation.

The album features collaborations with Mayorkun, FOLA, Leon Thomas, and French-Malian pop star Aya Nakamura. The opening track serves as a concise Afrobeats statement, while the lead single is an Amapiano-infused record that blends Nigerian vocal delivery with South African club sounds.

The collaboration with Mayorkun marks their first major creative reunion since Mayorkun's departure from DMW in 2021.
