Actor Hanks Anuku disclosed that the death of his partner, who was also the mother of his children, profoundly affected his life and career. He shared this revelation amid growing concerns regarding his mental health after being seen in a distressed state.

Following a viral video, Anuku was observed undergoing deliverance at a church in Abuja. In a subsequent video shared on social media, he articulated the emotional turmoil he experienced, stating that he felt "weighed down" and "very heavy" before the deliverance.

He expressed that the loss of his partner left him "emotionally shattered" and led to his withdrawal from social interactions. After the deliverance, Anuku reported feeling rejuvenated, stating he felt "as light as a feather" and experienced a resurgence of joy and laughter.

He attributed his transformation to being "struck by the Holy Spirit" and finding healing and divine comfort through the prayers.
