Debreceni VSC Signs Stephen Odey; Chukwueze Eyes Return

Hungarian club Debreceni VSC has officially signed Nigerian striker Stephen Odey on a free transfer after his contract with Danish side Rander FC expired in December. Odey, who initially joined Rander FC on loan in 2021, made the move permanent and scored 28 goals in 129 appearances during his four-and-a-half years in Denmark.

Throughout his career, he has netted a total of 83 goals across various leagues, having previously played for FC Zürich, KRC Genk, and Amiens SC. Debreceni VSC, a seven-time Hungarian champion, expects Odey to enhance their attacking options for the upcoming season.

In a related note, Fulham FC's Samuel Chukwueze is looking to return to action against Tottenham Hotspur after missing the previous match against Sunderland due to a minor calf issue. Head coach Marco Silva confirmed Chukwueze's progress, who has contributed three goals and four assists in 13 Premier League appearances since joining Fulham on loan from AC Milan.
