Rice commended Kane's influence on the game, highlighting his assist for Bayern Munich's opening goal and his successful penalty conversion.

Rice stated, “For me, Harry is the clear winner of the Ballon d’Or 2026,” emphasizing Kane's remarkable year and impressive statistics, which include 73 goals for club and country during the 2025-26 campaign. Kane's contributions also helped Bayern secure the Bundesliga title and played a significant role in England's third-place finish at the World Cup.
