North-Central APC Forum Rejects Plateau Leaders' Resolution on Mutfwang's Defection

The North-Central APC Forum has rejected the resolution passed by Plateau party leaders to accept Governor Caleb Mutfwang into the APC. The forum insists on rejecting Mutfwang's defection, claiming it is for selfish reasons and lacks genuine party members' selection.

The rejection was made during a stakeholders' meeting in October 2025, led by Barrister Festus Fuanter. The forum emphasized that Mutfwang's move to join APC was not in the interest of the party.

Chairman Saleh Zazzaga reiterated the call for Mutfwang to leave the PDP. The rejection highlights internal party dynamics and power struggles within the APC in Plateau State.
