Former Defence Minister Musa Joins APC Convention Committee Alongside Prominent Figures

Musa, who served as Nigeria's Chief of Defence Staff until October 2025, has officially joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) and has been included in the convention committee. The APC's National Working Committee has appointed Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma as the chairman of the Progress Governors Forum, while Senator Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq is the chairman of the Central Coordination Committee.

Other members of the committee include prominent figures like Godswil Akpabio, Tajudeen Abbas, Adam Oshiomhole, Abdullahi Adamu, and Abdullahi Ganduje. The APC has adjusted the timetable for congress and ward congress to February 18, with the national convention scheduled for March 27-28.

Female aspirants, youth, and persons with disabilities will pay 50% of the nomination fee. Delegates will be elected during the congress to attend the convention.
