The Delta State Government has officially addressed rumors circulating online about the death of former Governor Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan.

Ossai Ovi Success, the Senior Special Assistant on Media to the Delta State Governor, clarified the situation through a statement on his official Facebook page. He explained that the government received numerous inquiries from concerned citizens regarding the former governor's well-being.

To establish the truth, Success contacted Uduaghan's family and spoke directly with his daughter, Miss Orod Uduaghan, who confirmed that her father is alive and in good health. She expressed disappointment over the spread of false information.

Success condemned the circulation of such rumors, labeling it as cruel and irresponsible, which causes unnecessary pain to families. He urged the public to disregard the unfounded claims and to avoid sharing unverifiable information, emphasizing the importance of respecting the life of leaders like Dr.
