Davido Mocks MC Oluomo Over NURTW Ban in Osun State

Nigerian Afrobeat musician Davido has publicly taunted Musiliu Akinsanya, known as MC Oluomo, the president of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), after Oluomo rejected a ban imposed by Governor Ademola Adeleke in Osun State. The ban, which was announced ahead of the August 15, 2026 governorship election, aims to restore order in transport parks and eliminate the collection of levies.

In response to the ban, MC Oluomo stated that the governor does not have the authority to dictate NURTW operations. Davido mocked Oluomo on social media, questioning his educational background and involvement in political thuggery against Adeleke's government.

He referred to Oluomo's inability to compose sentences and expressed doubt about his political engagement. Davido was appointed as the youth campaign leader for Adeleke's re-election in Osun in April.
