CORA to Honor Cultural Icons at Lagos Book and Art Festival

The Committee for Relevant Art (CORA) is set to honor cultural icons such as Demas Nwoko, Francis Onwochei, and others at the Lagos Book and Art Festival (LABAF). The event aims to celebrate and recognize individuals in the cultural sector who have made significant contributions to Nigerian art, architecture, literature, and public service.

The festival will also feature tributes to icons and a children's segment with over 5,000 students. The honorees, including legendary architect Demas Nwoko and artist Francis Onwochei, will be acknowledged for their roles in preserving and promoting Nigerian art and culture.
